This movie is a more realistic representation of the consequences of leaving a baby to be raised by wolves in the jungle. The animals act and look more like what you would expect compared to the Disney version where everyone is well groomed and singing. Mowgli Legend of the Jungle is a Netflix must watch! To the critics who put down the movie for having unrealistic effects I say let's not forget the 80ft orangutan in Disneys remake.

I am so glad that there is a place for unique movies to be showcased when Hollywood is too afraid to put out a product that is different than what audiences are used to seeing. A person who downs this original take on the happy go lucky Jungle Book story we have known for decades is probably someone who likes seeing "certified safe" movies every year in theatres. But for those of us who wish to see new ideas and unique stories will flock to the internet where creativity is still allowed. Remember a critic is just a person with a four year film studies degree and an avid movie viewer. Their opinions really don't hold any more weight than a regular person who avidly watches movies in this day and age.
