Review of MouseHunt (1997) by Dave H — 19 Feb 2013
Wonderful slapstick comedy. Home Alone with a mouse instead of the kid, and without the drippy sentimentality. Some beautifully conceived and envisaged set-pieces. Sorta like a live-action Looney Tunes cartoon (with the two human leads in place of Wile e.
Coyote or Sylvester), but as with even the best Looney Tunes cartoons, 1 hour is about my limit for watching slapstick pratfalls. A little more heart hear wouldn't have gone astray. R.I.P. to the amazing William Hickey.
