At first I did not know what to expect. Honestly I just remember seeing a trailer for it on some DVD or VHS and it sounded like it might be an interesting movie to watch because its about a 10 year old who goes on a roadtrip.

The movie started out like a simple film where it shows the kid at home making something while you can hear the parents argue and say some horrible things. There were many many things in this movie that would be classified as weird and you might think this film was trying to be simple little kids movie at first glance but it is rated R and even the kid curses.

While he is driving collecting cards so that he can spell the word motorama at different gas stations for paying 5 dollars he runs into some very weird characters and some even played by notable celebrities.

Drew Barrymore literally has one scene when he is dreaming and she is on the front cover as if she is a main star. However the only real star at constant character is Jordan Christopher Michael. I would love to show it to some friends or something because I think they would just be as weirded out or might even like the film as me.

Or I don't know the movie is so weird that I guess thats why I liked it and the random scenes include Flea helping the kid out for 1 dollar. The dollar however as well as the world he lives in do not exist.

The adults are bizarre and include some guy who gets run over by a truck but survives. Two adults who capture the kid and slap him for stealing gas enough so he has to wear a patch. An old guy who after he has a brush with him the main character has gray hair with a beard.

I mean it is something to watch to just see but for some reason or another not many people have heard of this and there was even a sequel which I will now get which surprisingly has a cameo by Kurt Russell and others.

Overall, I feel that at the end of the picture I decided it was a sort of stream of consciousness type deal where many ideas were pured into each other to create different scenarios that the kid faced while looking for M O T O R A M A.
