Extremely overlooked film by Rodrigo Garcia that uses separate storylines centered around motherhood, loss, adoption and deceipt that eventually converge for a highly satisfying ending.
A terrific ensemble cast --- Annet Bening, Naomi Watts, Kerry Washington, Sam Jackson. Jimmy Smits --- that lends credibility to the entire venture. I liked Bening's performance in this more than "Kids Are Alright" --- she was nominated for the wrong film!
