Love this movie! I'm a big Darren Aronovsky fan and this movie is everything I expected and more. I believe it's a allegory of the Garden of Eden in the Bible, but there are many other interpretations you can make.
It's a movie you have to be patient with and not judge too soon. One of the best movies I've seen in the last decade, and it's in my top 10 of this century.
