You'll fall into one of three categories; you'll get it, you won't, or you'll think it's entertaining. If you're one of those who gets it, likely from your life experience, you'll understand why others don't, and if you connected to it like I did, will be annoyed by those who find it simply entertaining.
What some would describe was "overly dramatic" I believe was an intentional representation. Still trying to figure out if there is a larger, over-arching theme I need to watch it a few more times to get, or if it was meant to connect to the viewer based on their experiences.
Regardless, I'd love to talk to the writers and actors who choose to bring this to life.
