Review of mother! (2017) by Tony J — 03 Jan 2018
Though I don't view Darren Aronofsky's relatively sparse directorial career (compared to his name recognition outside of the movie fans) as a warranting the need-to-see attention that comes with his films, Mother! is as provocative, meticulous, and appropriately polarizing that simply the essays composed by critics and audiences attempting to define its purpose are enough to commit this experience to memory.
It invites you to join the conflict, and you should.
