Review of mother! (2017) by Masuzzie — 16 Sep 2017
The emperors new clothes is a shart tale about two weavers who promised the Emperor a new suit of clothes that they say is invisible to those who are unfit for the positions, stupid or incompetent. When the emperor parades before his subjects in his new clothes no one dares to say that they don't see any suit of clothes on him for fear they will be seen as unfit for the position, stupid or incompetent finally a child cries out "but he isn't wearing anything at all!" The critics who say anything positive about this movie became the same kind of subjects as found in the emperors new clothes, apparently they were afraid to tell the truth for fear that they may look unfit as critics, stupid or incompetent to other critics.
This movie is not deep, thought-provoking, or art; it's a man's personal vendetta against anyone who dares to have faith of any kind. His only goal it appears to be is to mock and belittle anyone who has faith, and it's sad to see how many in Hollywood are happy to jump on that bandwagon.
