This movie starts out with a very confusing relationship between a poet and a doctor that is never really explained ,a wacky character in Michelle phiffer as the doctors wife ,a homicidal spawn of said doctor and wife ,that take over the home of poet ( bardem) and his wife (Lawrence) to the point of threats to the young pregnant wife, one has the immediate question of why would one pregnant women stay in such a violent home , a home we are told at the beginning of this train wreck that , JENNIFER LAWRENCE singlehandedly restored this epic home , plot holes abound !!!!
