Masterpiece. While watching this movie, you have to keep in mind that Lawrence is "mother earth" and her husband is "mankind". And the destruction of their home by the crazy fanatic guests is what we are now doing to earth with our selfish acts.
If you watch this without understanding the symbolism you will be utterly lost and dissapointed. If you can not connect the women in cages and the police attacks with the guests with what is happening in our world today then you must live under a rock.
