The movie started off mysterious and riveting. I was looking forward to the Aha moment, the moment when all the mystery and intrigue adds up to something comprehensible, but I was disappointed. The scenes kept getting increasingly disjointed and incoherent.
Dialogue in this movie is two or three words. Lots of Jennifer Lawrence screaming, her acting is superb but there is no character development. There is nothing thought provoking here. Initially there seems to be some type of direction but it gets blurred and eventually dissipates into sheer brain numbing repetitiveness.
You feel as if the story was being created as the movie was going along...without a strong story or plot there is nothing. Nothing. But I like Jennifer Lawrence, without her I could not tolerate watching this for even a minute.
