Review of Mother (2016) by Faith W — 01 Nov 2018

Completely symbolic of religion and the world today. I personally liked it, I am not religious, I saw so many parallels.

"Think of every definition of the word mother.

This movie gives us an insight into the mind of all of those âmothers.â? The mind of:

An adult womenâ(TM)s retlationship with her mother. The mother than âknows bestâ? and judges her daughter for not having a child yet. That judges her for not keeping a clean house with amazing food and drinks available at all time.

A future mother that is married to a self-centered man that she is forced to take care of. Like he is her child. Who says he wants a child but secretly doesnâ(TM)t really want to lose the attention of his wife/caretaker/mother figure. But once she has a child he takes it. He takes her child, that she worked for, and faced pain to carry and deliver, and uses the child to show it off to society so he can be praised. He uses the child to build up his own ego and get more attention from society.

The future mother that is attacked by sperm (people obsessed with the husband) that impregnate her withour her approval. They attack her body that she worked hard to perfect (the house). And the sperm arrived at her womb (the house) because of the manâ(TM)s sexual needs ( the sperm are the husbandâ(TM)s fans that came to the house for him).

The mother of young children who need constant supervision. Children that act out and break things. Things the mother worked hard to create. Her spirit, her body, her home, her relationship with her husband. Children who have a father that allows and encourages the destruction of the house(the women) in order to be loved by his children and not seen as the bad guy.

The mother of teenagers who throw crazy parties and ruin their mothers home. With no regard.

Mother Nature/god. That gives her children (humanity) a beautiful, Safe, and perfect home (earth/the house in the movie) to live in. But the children donâ(TM)t appreciate the safe home. They use it for safety and then begin to destroy it for their own personal gain. They the home it until it kills them all and dies itself.

The mother of an innocent baby. She wants to protect the baby from the crazy world outside . But eventually it is sent out into the world. (The mob in the home.) once itâ(TM)s on the world, the baby is abused and used by others until it dies. Even though the mother runs after the baby trying to save it. Eventually society(mob in home) abuses and kills her child while she watches.

This movie takes everything idea or aspect of the word mother and gives is an insight into her mind.".
