Review of Motel Hell (1980) by Alex R — 29 Dec 2011
A true masterpiece of camp horror, and an absolute classic in my household. You are not a true member of our family until we make you watch it.
It is perfect in its complete and total campiness and attempted seriousness. Calhoun and Parsons are two of my favorite characters of all time. Calhoun as the philosophical, god fearing cannibal, and Parson's as the crude, mannish muscle of the duo.
Full of so many great quotes and WTF moments. The 'Radical Hypno-High' is a particular highlight. Too many great aspects to list here, so just see it!!
