Review of Mortuary (1982) by Jeff B — 02 Aug 2011
Pretty (unintentionally) hilarious slasher film from 1983 starring some people I don't know and a very young Bill Paxton giving a very over the top performance. It's weird, but even though I watched it just a few days ago, I can't recall the main plot.
I believe a girl is trying to figure out what really happed to her dad who died recently in their swimming pool. So of course, several other deaths happen, caused by someone wearing white makup and dressed all in black with a black cape.
I can't recall any particularly memorable deaths, though the ending is pretty hilarious with some pretty random moments including the killer conducting an orchestra of a bunch of dead people. There are better, cheesier 80s slasher films out there.
