If you go into this expecting anything on Marvel's level. well I doubt you even know what mortal Kombat is. Its just as campy as the 90s classic with my biggest complaint is the how much the second half of the movie is what everyone is here for.

Personally I wish they had taken a page out of the 90s movie and just wrote a story with the expectation we know who these characters are. if it started closer to the half way point and stretched that out to 2 hours would have been better.
