A remastered cult classic. Idk why it's being ranked as a Hollywood film. What makes the original so special it the video game culture, cliché dialogue, and over the top action. This movie has that and more.
It takes a small spin-off of the original and modernizes it, while still giving you those small nuggets of memorabilia throughout the way. I will say the new protagonist "Cole" was not fully brought to life.
His character could have been more fleshed out, but besides that, this was a solid film for a fan.
