Review of Mortal Kombat (2021) by Btacular — 24 Apr 2021

This movie was bad. It really did nothing well. The fight scenes were predictable and mediocre. The character development was very poor. Acting was bland. The main character is a character unknown to me who wasn't particularly interesting.

The plot was simplistic and dumb. The movie was nearly over before the majority of the good guys developed their special powers. Not everything has to be an origin story, and it seems like this movie was one big origin story for the main character who was generally unremarkable.

There was so much potential here, and it seemed squandered by mediocrity.
