Review of Mortal Kombat (1995) by Eric A — 03 Aug 2011

I've played the Mortal Kombat games and they are fun (although I prefer Street Fighter) but this movie is very lame. The game is most known for it's violence and gore which this movie replaces the gore with martial arts which isn't bad, but the acting and script is what brings this movie down.

The characters are bland and annoying(mostly Johnny Cage) and the plot is week are barley noticeable. Out of all the video game licensed movies, this is probably the best, but that's not saying much at all.

That's like saying the garbage I toke out this week smelled better then the garbage I toke out last week. Not a horrible movie but not good.
