I think it's the perfect cult movie. The cast is spot-on for the characters they portray, The action scenes are enjoyable and it manages to be just the right amount of cheesy where it's comedic but not overly so.
Mortal Kombat is such a criminally underrated movie and really one of the better video game based films to ever come out.
