Review of Morning Glory (2010) by Hanna N — 28 Apr 2011
With an all star cast of both a young and older generation of actors Morning Glory has enough star power, which helps the film because the acting is good from all sides and the writing is witty and funny at times.
This is a typical feel good film with a predictable story line, but it does it's job very well. It's directed well and has the perfect dialogue for this type of film. I was a little surprised to see J.
J. Abrams attached as producer (considering this is not science fiction) but having him aboard didn't hurt. I dont' like seeing A list actors like Harrison Ford take roles like this but I must admt he really fits the bill for the character he plays.
I enjoyed Morning Glory and have nothing bad to say about it other than tha obvioius plot and the fact that not once did it try to be a unique film. Still I enjoyed it and even got a few laughs in.
