Review of Morning Glory (2010) by Randi W — 07 Jan 2014
Enjoyed this more than I expected too considering its a rom-com. Harrison Ford is also less annoying than usual and actually funny in places. I think his character works here because he plays a grumpy old man and that's what he's good at. Shit, that's who he is in every single movie he makes these days. Anyways. Good secondary characters and Rachel McAdams is enjoyable; running around trying to please everyone, her romance is kind of lukewarm, an afterthought really. Forgettable but not a horrible movie. 09.13.
"A desperate TV news producer (Rachel McAdams) tries to save a failing morning news show and end the ongoing feud between its grumpy anchorman (Harrison Ford) and cohost (Diane Keaton) in this glimpse at the world of live television.".
