Review of Morning Glory (2010) by Johnny T — 09 Feb 2012
Not brilliant but still engaging and with some worthwhile performances by Keaton and Ford. McAdam's actually works very hard at this part but just loses it. Whilst such a role calls for an over-the-top play on character she evades any ability for the viewer to feel compassion for her subjects plight.
Scripting and editing does give a fairly insightful view of morning television although sometimes crossing the line and becoming of a parody of itself. Have to laugh and love the subject matter though.
