Review of Morning Glory (2010) by Jacob P — 21 Mar 2018
A solid film with an interesting premise surrounding the world of daytime talk programs like the Today show. What I really like is how brightly it was shot with production design that perfectly makes it look like a legitimate daytime news and talk program.
The performances are superb but it's Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton that really shine hilarious playing direct opposites that are foils to each other. With that being said, the story isn't completely engaging though it does chug along fine enough to maintain a coherent plot.
Overall, this film has interesting production elements and outstanding performances to hold up it's bland story.
