Review of Morning Glory (2010) by Adrian Z — 02 Jun 2012
Smart comedy in which McAdams becomes an executive producer for a morning variety show with very poor ratings. Grumpy news reporter Ford, who doesn't get along with co-host Keaton, doesn't make producing the show any easier, but it's up to her to turn things around when apathetic network exec Goldblum puts the writing on the wall for the show.
Mc Adams is as usual sparkling, but Ford's hilarious persona takes centre stage. Matt Malloy as the weatherman has some sidesplitting scenes. Written by Aline Brosh McKenna, of The Devil Wears Prada fame.
