Review of More American Graffiti (1979) by David H — 16 Jan 2012
I actually like this movie. Of course it helps that the original American Graffiti is in my top 5, but despite what the critics have unanimously said (ie: They hate it) this sequel stands as a classy little movie in its own right.
It does lack the George Lucas touch, but the side by side story lines and the use of Woodstock style split screens is very effective. It is also one of the few 70's movies to show the Vietnam conflict from the average soldier's perspective.
