Cher deserved her Oscar for this and it deserved it welter of Nominations. She dominates a class cast.. with a simple Oscar winning screenplay.. this is a beautifully designed and crafted meal of a movie.
. No bad points.. Interestingly it owes a big debt to David Leans SUMMERTIME with the make over scenes.. beautiful and literate. Dreamy.
