Review of Moonstruck (1987) by John A — 21 Aug 2009
While it's pretty much a standard romantic comedy in terms of plot structure, this is a standard romantic comedy written by John Patrick Shanley, which means it's a cut or twenty above the rest of the pack.
The characters are colorful and memorable, the dialogue is sharp and witty, and the situations are hilarious. It's easy to see why it's so beloved. "Bring me the big knife!".
