Review of Moonstruck (1987) by Thomas K — 22 Aug 2015
Norman Jewison is one of the most underrated directors of all time, and John Patrick Shanley's screenplay is nothing short of perfection. Cher won best actress and not only did she deserve it but it was her brilliant idea for Nicolas Cage to play the man she loves.
The supporting cast is just as good and 27 years later the film is just as swooningly romantic as the day it was released. Beautiful.
