Amazing script by John Patrick Shanley that comes to life with the great cast and the directing by Norman Jewison. Cher was amazing in her role as Loretta but it was Vincent Gardenia and Olympia Dukakis that steal this film as Loretta's parents.
Witty dialogue and good pacing throughout the film.
