Review of Moonstruck (1987) by Beverley — 28 Jul 2008
This movie always seems to come up when I mention to my friends that I like opera, or that I dislike Nicolas Cage, so I finally got around to seeing it. Unfortunately it did not live up to its billing.
The story is rather bland and fairly unbelievable, even for a chick flick. (Are we really supposed to believe that a widow in her late 30's would fall in love and agree to marry a man after knowing him just 3 days?).
