Review of Moonrise Kingdom (2012) by Elgan D — 28 Feb 2015

Wes andersons best film in my opinion, I dispised grand budapest hotel, even though I understand why it got nominated for oscars.. anyways, enough about that film, I want to talk about this. Moonrise Kingdom, a creative, interesting movie I really enjoyed for its acting, cinemetography, its writing, casting and last but not least, the direction.

all of it was like really good, but it was just a little bit slow at times, but I thought the two kids in the movie were excellent and I noticed their names werent even in the trailer, even though they are the leads and the film is based on them.

whatever, thats just disrespectful to them in my opinion, if I was one of those kids, I would be disapointed my name isnt in the trailer, it just focused on the big stars of the film, but obviously in the movie it credits them with their name and most of the time them being on the screen.

sorry for that rant. however, even though im not a fan of wes anderson, I still really enjoy this movie and would totally reccomend this to anyone who wants a funny, clever original movie. watch this if you havent, its somthing good to watch.
