Review of Moonraker (1979) by Becky K — 17 Mar 2008
An absolutely absurd Bond film, but that adds to its charming appeal.
Moore returns as the agent with the license to kill, as does the infamous Jaws (portrayed again by Richard Kiel-- as if anyone else could fill the role).
The special effects are dated, the script is way out in left field, and the villain is absolutely ridiculous, but again, the off-the-wall antics involved in this movie are what makes it such an excellent addition to the series.
