Review of Moonraker (1979) by Trent C — 19 May 2009
Ya know, it's a pretty bad movie, but I thoroughly enjoy the second half of it. The first half is dull, with drab characters, but about half-way through the movie action kicks in and it's so big and over the top that it's great fun.
It's pretty much a remake of The Spy Who Loved Me dealing with space instead of underwater, but Drax is not as good a villain as Stromberg. The space battle is exciting, but really it doesn't belong in a Bond movie.
Very odd.
