Review of Moonraker (1979) by Sebastian U — 17 Sep 2012
It was one of the worst Bond movies to that point in the series. They really kept everything similar to before as the Bond girl was a smart secret agent, the bad guy plans to destroy the world, there is a big war-like scene with good guys and bad guys shooting each other all over the place and a few chase scenes with different vehicles and in this case the boat again.
They made the Jaws character a lot less likable this time around because of his love for the shorter blonde girl and that god awful cable car scene where he jumps from one to the other without even jumping.
The "Noah's ark" angle was interesting, but overall it lacked any good or new action and it is sad to say it is the same old Bond movie just in space.
