Review of Moonlight Mile (2002) by Radek C — 19 Feb 2009
The title of the movie comes from Rolling Stones' - Moonlight Mile. The director and writer Brad Silberling, a genius who you should be sure to be on the look out for. The main plot of the movie is, Joe loses his finacée and tries to compensate with his fiancées parents by staying with them and helping them cope with the loss of their only daughter when Joe finds love somewhere else. Ellen Pompeo's chatacter was a revelation, playing the postal girl who falls for the greiving husband to be. Jake Gyllenhall, Dustin Hoffman were also admiral. Beautifully wriiten and acted out but it lacked a certain luster that you come to expect of drama movies.
Joe Nast: The truth is hard. Sometimes it looks so wrong, y'know. The color's off, the style's wrong, but I guess... I guess it's where the good ones live.
