Review of Moon (2009) by Kris S — 13 Mar 2013
Moon is the type of film that gets under your skin. Sam Rockwell without a doubt anchors the movie with his remarkable, haunting performance. To think Duncan Jones made this with only a couple million dollars is a testament to his talents and abilities as a director.
The soundtrack is essential to the tone and mood of the entire picture and I really felt it took Moon to another level. I recommend this to anyone who loves movies that surprise and affect you on an emotional level.
Think thinking-man's sci-fi wrapped in a psychological thriller. Not to be missed.
