New age science fiction that feels like old school science fiction. The visuals in the film hark back to more simpler time when CGI had not yet taken hold of modern cinema, evoking an Alien/2001 feeling with pristine white environments and high tech equipment.
Sam Rockwell comfortably supports the entire film on his own two shoulders, with Kevin Spacey backing as the A.I 'GERTY'. Low budget films are still relevant and Moon is no exception.
