Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Rimi K — 04 Mar 2008
Outstanding performance by Heath Ledger. Personally, I think, his character made the movie. He just takes you on this emotional rollercoaster ride that leaves you wanting to jump in and give his character one big hug.
The movie as a whole is very dramatic and real in a sense. that being said, the excessive use of pornographic scenes put me off... seriously, it was too much. 3 stars for Mr. Ledger.
