Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by John S — 12 Oct 2008
I'm not too sure what the central theme is in this movie, but halle berry definitely gives a powerful performance as a mother whose family just dies away... there are some really powerful and sad moments, but the scene that sticks out the most to me is the infamous "encounter" between billy bob and halle on and around her couch.
.. wow.
