Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Daryl L — 16 Aug 2009

Finally got around to seeing this and it was well worth it. at first the story seemed a bit harsh but as the movie went on it really managed to bring it all together with the growth of it's characters.

this movie is littered with terrific acting. Halle Berry's Oscar was well deserved. I did feel that she was a bit too pretty for the role but at the same time I can't imagine it working as well as it did without her.

this film is well worth checking out.
