Review of Monster House (2006) by Alexander C — 07 Dec 2012
''Whatever issue you guys have, I'm sure it has letters and they make pills for it.''.
Three teens discover that their neighbor's house is really a living, breathing, scary monster.
Mitchel Musso: DJ.
Maggie Gyllenhaal: Zee.
Sam Lerner: Chowder.
Steven Speilberg definitely backed to the right horse. The horse in question being Robert Zemeckis.
Reminiscent of the all time classic ''The Goonies'' this story revolves around three kids who have a mysterious obsession with a scary house. The animation is cute and imaginative as is the story in all it's simplicity that shines genius.
Some parts granted are very scary and little children may need suoervision if they watch, nowadays though I guess most will watch anything. Alright some parts not for the squeamish then.
One of the best imagination soaked animated films of 2006 oozing originality and fun, not to mention laughs.
A fresh and needed approach to animated films.
