Review of Monster House (2006) by Matt M — 17 Jun 2013
A family animation film about a house which behaves like a human and tries to take over the neighbourhood and its inhabitants. Produced by Robert Zemeckis, and indeed employing a lot of the animation techniques that he exhibited in his feature The Polar Express, one of the best things about this film is that it doesn't alienate its older viewers, and could be considered a horror film for all the family, though some of the members of its younger audience could find it a little too scary.
