Review of Monster Brawl (2011) by Andrew K — 18 Dec 2012
Bad bad bad Bad BAd BAD bAD baD bad ba d b ad baaad baaadddd. Just not good. It's sub par on every level. I usually can see some reasoning behind a film to give it some credit or a way to bump up the score but this really didn't deserve even after thought.
What I can say about it is its a train wreck where if you start watching it you just have to keep at it until the mess is cleaned up. Which it isn't at all. "No acting no action no problem" says anyone involved with this movie.
They set out to make an intentionally Bad movie. You know the kind where it's so bad it's good. But they fall short. Not by much but by enough to warrant the lowest star rating I have ever given a movie I didn't walk out on or stop and burn the disk.
Do not watch this to even understand my reason for this rating. Save the time and loss of brain matter and just take my word for it and just wait for the sequel. Monster Brawl: Brawls of Brass. Please skip this and defriend anyone who tries to defend it as anything more than the actors paycheck.
