Mmm, odd sort of movie. Very modern middle class India with pre-marital sex and difficult, probably gay, teenage boy and with old family friend who molests young girls. The plump dubber doing the sex scene is hilarious.

Very colourful, musical and feel-good ultimately. Not real Bollywood, very western in approach. But what do I know. I've only seen a handful of Indian films and can't remember what they were called - apart from Bandit Queen, itself hardly typical.

I felt better for watching Monsoon Wedding; that's got to say something about it.
