Firstly, kudos to the awesome performances of the child actors: Sophie NÃ (C)lisse and Ãmilien NÃ (C)ron. They displayed a sincerity and honesty in their performances that is so much lacking in movies nowadays while at the same time maintaining their childish innocence.
The movie beautifully captures the teacher student relationship while ruminating on such aspects as immigrant problems, cultural differences and the joy of childhood. A must watch.
