Review of Monsieur Ibrahim (2003) by Stephan L — 08 Aug 2004
Monsieur Ibrahim is a light, touching film about two people (one man and one young boy) that form a bond that changes both of their lives. Their relationship takes them both to ultimate happiness. It is a subtle movie that is more about individual scenes and communication than actual plot.
Things happen and characters come and go that really don't have much to do with the ultimate point of the film but together they form the tone of the film, which is very good. A touching film without the usualn mellodrama that you would expect in a movie like this.
