Review of Monsieur Hulot's Holiday (1953) by Stephen H — 23 Jul 2008
A masterclass in comic timing and observation humour. From the 'poing' of the restarant door, to the melting ice cream vendors display ... it sums up what a holiday used to be before the madness of package deals, suntans, and trying to beat the germans to the beach.
And yes, you can play tennis like that ... just try ..... and see what attention it can draw...teehee.
