Review of Monkey Business (1952) by Davey M — 10 Apr 2008
Absolutely wonderful Howard Hawks comedy (in which, like an earlier Hawks screwball comedy, Cary Grant plays a scientist who wears round thick-rimmed glasses) with some terrific performances and a brow-furrowingly odd premise. A very sweet and very, very funny celebration of the quiet bliss of maturity.
And the kid in the cowboy hat is a comedic genius.
