Review of Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) by Mike R — 23 Apr 2009
This was a real surprise. A friend recommended it but warned it was a bit gory in the battle scenes. The film has real presence: atmospheric with glorious sweeping backdrops, the acting is natural, dialogue spoken in the language of the Mongols.
I watched it on DVD and it made me wish I had a much bigger TV!
