Review of Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) by Marc L — 17 Aug 2009
I think it's a very interesting take on the life of Genghis Khan, it doesn't just show how much of a badass he was and nonstop violence. It actually takes a somewhat realistic approach similar to a biography.
I definately look forward to the second and third movies that will follow this. This trilogy has a lot of potential. I can't really say how much of what is shown in the movies is factual, but regardless it is interesting and a really cool movie overall.
